too much of a good thing.

I feel like I’m always being punished for being too laid back. It may seem as though I don’t care about anything, but I am far from apathetic. Don’t get it twisted.

There are just some things not worth bustin’ your blood vessels for. I strive for sustained happiness.

  1. As people, I think we have a pseudo-notion that happiness is everlasting. Well, perhaps it is everlasting, but that it can also be constant, never ending. Sustained happiness seems a noble endeavor, but eventually would it not run out? I'm not sure of this myself, but from my logic, I gather that we should rather strive for being content. Being happy bring a feeling of contentment and after happiness runs its course, then we should be satisfied with being content...because we are content of course! hm, happiness is the ebbing and flow of the tide, and contentment is the water itself. Just my thoughts. Hope you find your happiness and it leads you to contentment.
